Lodge Planning Workshop
On behalf of R.W.Bro. Chappell you are invited to attend the Wilson District Lodge Planning workshop on June 17th starting @ 0900am. (Coffee and snacks will be provided) I will be sending out the Strategic Planning template later this week along with some other planning information. If you are able to bring a lap top with the template loaded on it you will have a working draft plan to take back to your members by the end of the morning.
As part of the preparation please read through the item list below and bring a copy of your last Lodge Report Card. This will help set the specific goal priorities for your plan.

What pattern/trend do you see?
New members - Mentoring/retention- identify interested knowledgeable members to mentor candidates as they progress/ involvement in Lodge activities and committees.
Ritual- inventory of members/ support and use of district assistance with the work list/participation in Lodge of instruction
Community Profile-Masonic community- visiting, participation in district events, support of district / Local community – support of events, donations of time and resources to community initiatives/ Friend to Friend nights
Lodge financial health- Budget to expenses comparison - annual budget, dues/income vs regular expenses, available cash on hand/investments vs anticipated expense, By-laws reviewed and up to date including regular review of dues
Building/holding company financial health – annual budget vs income, projected expenses 3-5-10years vs Cash on hand/investments
Accountability - who will be responsible for each area of the plan
