FEEDBACK REQUESTED!!
The Wilson District Masonic Association may plan a fall social outing, however prior to proceeding in planning and booking the event R.W. Bro. Ian Chappell is seeking feedback as to how many persons would be interested in the event as he will be required to reserve the exact amount of tickets etc. well in advance.Ian is proposing a date in mid September (to be determined based on numbers etc) the following. Masons and wives/girlfriends etc. attend a Matinee live presentation of a tribute band to the Rat Pack at the Lighthouse Theatre in Port Dover followed by a dinner at the Cove Room of the Erie Beach Hotel.Tickets for the theatre are $53.00 per person and an additional $55.37 which includes taxes and gratuity per person for the dinner which is as follows;
Soup of the Day and
Cove Room Salads and
Celery Bread
Choice of Entree’ (Includes potato and vegetable)
Erie Beach Perch, or
Erie Beach pickerel, or
Breaded Shrimp, or
Grilled Fish of the day, or
grilled 6 oz New York strip
Choice of dessert from the Erie Beach ovens,
Coffee or tea.
So for approximately $110.00 per person you will get a live performance of a tribute to the Rat Pack followed up by a full multi course meal at the Cove room.
I am aware that this is expensive, but I think it will be a great performance followed up by a very nice meal at the Cove room.
I will likely book it for a Friday afternoon in early September,
If you are interested, I need to know exact numbers etc as once I book it I am on the hook for the cost in advance.
The Theatre can accommodate a large number and the Cove room holds up to 88 people, so I’m hoping to get 50 people committed if possible. Please respond to me via email if you are interested and will commit to a Friday in early September.

Sincerely and fraternally,
